The construction of these images has really come out great Ben! In particular the detail in the bottom with the darker tones especially I really have some admiration for more so, they have a great sense of volume and body. It'd be interesting to see this on a histogram to evaluate the graduation of tones?
This is purely subjective but, I'm not a real fan of central compositions as they require that extra dimensional quality to equate depth and perspective within an image for my own thinking anyway. In reasoning that, I'm not quite sure this image equates the dimensional depth and perspective I'd like to observe in viewing this image.
Don't get me wrong though.... on other photographic levels it's still a good image for me in terms of photographic technique and image construction.
A fine image. I like the fine detail and the contrast. Excellent black and white quality.
Thanks, Ndiginiz.
I took shots in F5.6 to include background people in reasonable sharpness so the entire shot I kept same F stop to match the feel.
It may be interesting to see how that comes out of I took wide open. It will show little more dimension by slightly burred background. Thanks for advise, it is always great to have that and different view point for image.
Thanks, Don.
I don't "do" the tecnical stuff, but I certainly do admire your work! I like the Nelson Tourism touch!
Thank you Kate.
