Interesting light in this shot. Love the way the sky is highlighted behind Mt Victoria and on the buildings in the middle ground. Not sure what mess they are making in the foreground - an unsettling photo. Lesley Expat Kiwi
Search '92 Jervois Quay, Wellington" on google map. That's where I took the photo. The building in middle is Te Papa and the shadow is castled by the art on the bridge and big clan is the fixture of the port. The soft focus effect is done by adjusting clarity.
Thanks for the location, but oh dear, I thought it looked like a construction site. I remember Te Papa as a more darker building, Takaka Black Marble was used to build it around the outside, but maybe your soft focus has played light tricks. I see the shadow of the bridge almost looking like a bird. Interesting photo!
No specific topics. I take a photo of everything from my surrounding. I like watching sky and cloud and apparently it is a big part of my collection.
I welcome any constructive criticism, advise and comment. Please let me know your thought.

Far side of the Te papa building (Darker gray part) is I believe the marble you mentioned. It may be a intensity of lighting.
