  1. Big tides there. Where I am, the tide is not very dramatic. I really like the photo. That boat looks like a hand-built wooden boat. Don't see many around here but fiberglass.

    Love the interplay of textures and colours Ben. The boat serves to add a visual impact and POI to the image as well.

  3. I like the luminance the sea radiates the glow of the boat and reflection, the framing, with the boat slightly off center!

    I would have just removed the sand strip from the top as it (at least to my eyes) adds a colour outside of the palette and adds a sort of hard frame to the top of the image where otherwise imagination would continue to the expanse of the sea.

    One more of your great images nevertheless!

    I agree with Lachezar and I posted the revised version.
    Guess what, I actually did that before for photo contest entry.
    I sent a version of this image to photo contest. I did print this on 8x10 at photo shop (which clop the both side a little). After I received the print, I cut off the sandy part on top and sent on 10th/April.
