Nikon D200
Tamron SP AF 17-50mm F2.8 XR Di II @ 34mm
F8, 1/60, ISO-100, TTL Built-in Flash

I haven't feel very good and couldn't go out for weekend. What I did is to take this picture for study for noise and CA correction. I had to correct some blue/cyan CA around accessory shoe at top of FM2n. It was good exercises.

That's some nice Nikon gear Ben. I've been thinking back to my film days and I kind of miss the whole process of film photography. It (the cost) still doesn't justify a a return to it though however much I miss it.

  2. Thanks!
Yes, its a kind of serious gear. I like the feel of film shooting. Those cameras demanding my thinking before pushing the shutter. This is good reminder for me as well.
Yes, I think the cost is single most case that I changed to the Digital as well as convenience for working with computer.
When I feel like it, I will load up nice roll of file to one of those gears.

  3. I get out my film cameras from time to time as well.

That F4 looks to be a heavy load. I've never held one but always loved their look.

Have you read about the newly announced Nikon D3 and D300? The high ISO photos I've seen from the D3 are simply amazing. They will put Canon's back to the wall with it's low light performance.

  4. Thanks, John.
Yes, F4 is heavy tank. But! You will be surprised how well fit to hand and steady on the slow shutter.

Yes, I have read about D3 and D300. It will be grate cameras when it's release in November. It is promising and good result from changing CCD to CMOS based technology.

Well, I need to stay with my D200. I might upgrade when they release D400 or D500 in the future. I cannot justify upgrading my D200 so soon.
