  1. Ben, these aerial shots are just wonderful. Considering you had to shoot through the aircraft window, your result is excellent. The clouds are so delicate and the light on the water is beautiful. It all looks like fairyland - gorgeous.

  2. I have to agree with Gavin. I've missed you blokes for a few days, still trying to come to terms with how to manage visiting all these sites.

I'm a bit like a kid in a lollyshop really.

  3. Thanks Gavin, Bitingmidge.
I applied "high-pass filter" technique to sharpen up the image. It will clear most of this hazy while mist like effect caused by aircraft's plastic double graze window.

  4. Sorry for commenting so late, but enjoyed your plane shoots tremendously! Particularly this one! Composition, light and shadows combine to a surreal effect!

    Cheers!

This is the only one out of those tree that accepted by "OurSpace".
I thought the Whaitaki River is pretty good for that space too.
It's bit become unpredictable that what kind of image they want in these days...

Anyway, I'm glad the you guys enjoyed them as much as I enjoyed for processing.

  6. oh wow this is super - it is hard distinguishing what is land, what is cloud, what is sea - which is excellent.

I'm a bit puzzled by the "smudge" bottom-left - shadow of the plane, shadow of a cloud or submerged sandbank?.

  7. Gerald, that would be a shadow of another cloud that is not in the picture. Thanks for comment.
