Those are good cloud formations too. The sea birds add some good interest and life.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32106829.post-84066972431795860642008-11-13T21:14:00.000+13:002008-11-13T21:14:00.000+13:00I love the depth of colour from the left of the pi...I love the depth of colour from the left of the picture to the lighter right in this shot. The clarity of the ripples making one almost see the sand beneath is wonderful. It is so New Zealand blue, and the sand with Oystercatchers gives a great point of interest. Do I see a ship on the horizon? Nice piece Ben. An EV adjustment is done separately on sky from the rest by LightRoom's gradation filter effect.

This one turns out almost like direct positive print. (I didn't use that pre-set.) I quite like the outcome.Ben Nakagawahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01362171644695652901noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32106829.post-19240413365971966732008-11-10T16:29:00.000+13:002008-11-10T16:29:00.000+13:00Wow, such an amazing place and a great photo.. the...Wow, such an amazing place and a great photo.. the colors are so vivid, well done!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32106829.post-10467545084561267572008-11-09T00:45:00.000+13:002008-11-09T00:45:00.000+13:00This is a really great shot. The sliver of dry land precariously hanging between the mases of blue sky and water and the birds of course. Quite a tale! Cheers Ben!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
