Mazda MX-5

Nelson, New Zealand

Nikon D800
Ai-S Nikkor 35mm F1.4
F1.4, 1/60, ISO-100

Built and registered in 1989,  Mazda MX-5 (Eunos Roadster / Miata) has got an early birthday gift.  It's a new T.S.I (Turn Signal Intake).  This car turns 25 years old in coming November.

It is a performance parts, but for this particular car, it is more for the looks than performance improvement.

Panasonic Lumix GX1
LUMIX G X VARIO PZ 14-42mm / F3.5-5.6 ASPH. / POWER O.I.S @ 14mm

It's a relatively straight forward conversion process.   Just a hint of blueish ting on shadow.

Rocks Road (Fog) - Revisited

Nelson, New Zealand

Nikon D200
AF Nikkor 50mm F1.4D
F8, 1/250, ISO-100

This is from the next frame from what I originally posted here.

Also I applied same process to original post just see how different from it.  It largely because the image grown in my mind that how it should looks and tools that help me control much easer in detail.

Same frame from original post in 2009 with same process applied for above image.

Balance

Nelson, New Zealand

Nikon D800
AF Micro-Nikkor 60mm F2.8
F8, 1/15, ISO-720

This is part of ball head attached on my tripod.   I used home made spot light to illuminate the bubble and take a photo that camera attached to mono-pod.

Spot light consist of high power LED and old Nikkor 135mm F3.5 LTM.  I found this light very interesting and useful for occasion.  Lens itself is not modified so can be used for photography with m43 body for example.

Clouds

Nelson, New Zealand

Nikon D800
Tamron SP AF 24-70mm F2.8 Di VC USD (A007) @ 36mm
F5.6, 1/15, ISO-100

This is few minutes after all those clod was reflecting red light from setting sun.
Red sky was dramatic as its own but I liked the structure shown in this image.
