I love the toning on this one...
when I do my photo trip of the South Island I'm going to have to visit your neck of the woods

I think you've achieved a most pleasant silvery, luminous effect on the water and sky using the 20 second shutter speed. It certainly catches some magic from the very early hours. Composition is spot on too.

the sky and water look like satin sheets ...beautiful.....i wish i could ever get up before dawn to capture a sky as calm and beautiful as that ...

Lovely silhouette. It's almost a black and white photo.

Thanks!
Those ND filter shot is all inspired by zenith9. They has real magic for slow shutter shots. I tried and I also liked a lot.

Hey Ben, thanks for the link! You'll have great fun with the filter, I promise you. This is a lovely monochrome treatment.

Thanks, Bob. The filter is very good investment, next one is may be Gard-ND.

Sun was still under the horizon, and I wanted to try ND, in this early day. I like the result. It's almost monochrome and only slight hint of the colour. Now, I know whey people prefer morning to take their photos.
