Nice vantage point. This is so Nelson, although the bright sunny day not always so.
Beautiful light, grayscale tones and composition. The sun is up but I guess is pretty cold...
Terrifically interesting street and photograph!
oh! You changed your site! :-)
Love this image. The tones are perfect. The eye is drawn between the two posts nicely.
Ben, this one's a stunner! Excellent gray scale, meticulously lined up and framed, absolutely filled with interest. Although it is a street scene it reminds me of a formal garden, probably due to the foreground stonework and the trees. There are so many places that the eye can wander and explore here. You have chosen a good time of day to catch the light glancing on surfaces giving nice contrasty accents. It has everything: depth, perspective, light, shadow, textures and a good point of view. I think the choice of b&w was definitely the best choice and that has also helped to make this work so well.
beautiful view and Black and White imagery gives it a classic touch...
I prefer this over the color version as it adds a timeless quality to the photo
Nice shot, well balance
Thanks, everyone!
I didn't expected such a good feedback, but I'm really happy!
Dawn, the change I made were mainly the colour schema, stretched width to accommodate larger photo. I was trying to say "not much change here", but it is a bit of change, isn't it.
i love the composition of this and the light
Thanks, Alek.
