Superb photo, Ben. A foreground full of interest with the aircraft and all the geometric markings on the tarmac plus a background of great space and distance. I like the soft but interesting sky and the atmosphere. All the horizontal components make a consistent composition.
I had to take a shot when I saw the illuminated body of aircraft. I also attracted the contrast of those marking as you mentioned in your comment, Gavin.
A great shot I must agree with Gavin. the soft tonality enhances the space feel. ...plus the controls of this aircraft are not of the fly by wire type...
